On a vibrant evening filled with energy, optimism, and meaningful conversations, SIXiDES, Dulux, and Hyphenate (Holding company of Kompacplus) came together to formalise a powerful industry collaboration with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
More than 100 interior designers from over 30 interior design firms gathered to witness the moment. The strong turnout underscored a shared belief: that the future of interior design in Singapore will be shaped by deeper collaboration between designers, material partners, and platforms that champion transparency, creativity, and progress.

A Celebration of Partnerships, People, and Possibility
The night unfolded as both a celebration and a signal of what lies ahead. Designers reconnected, new relationships were forged, and the atmosphere was unmistakably one of optimism. The evening culminated in a horse-themed lohei, symbolising momentum, strength, and forward movement, an apt metaphor for the collective journey the three brands are embarking on together.

A Glimpse Into What’s Next
During the event, Damien Tan, Co-Founder of Hyphenate, a holding company of Kompacplus, shared an exciting preview of an upcoming 186:188 experiential centre, a collaborative initiative between Kompacplus, Dulux and SIXiDES. Designed to go beyond traditional showrooms, the space will serve as a place where designers and homeowners can experience materials, colours, and ideas in a more immersive and intuitive way.
Dulux also took the opportunity to unveil insights into its 2026 Colour of the Year, offering designers an early look at the colour directions that will shape interiors in the years ahead. The sharing by Anna Chng from Dulux, sparked conversations not just about trends, but about how colour, mood, and wellbeing intersect in modern living spaces.

A Strategic Appointment for a Broader Vision
A key announcement of the evening was the appointment of Astley Ng, Founder of SIXiDES, as Strategic Creative & Marketing Partner to Dulux. This external appointment reflects Dulux’s intent to expand its footprint in Singapore through deeper engagement with designers, homeowners, and the wider renovation ecosystem, bridging storytelling, education, and meaningful on-ground initiatives.
The role signals a shared ambition: to move beyond products alone and toward shaping better experiences, conversations, and standards within the industry.
