“Design has always been my language,” says Jason. “Plants just became the medium.”
When travel came to a halt during the pandemic, Jason, a creative director, found himself with time and a new obsession. Between branding projects and lockdown stillness, he began working on his office balcony which has been left vacant for the past ten years. But the initial obsession quickly turned into frustration. Traditional nurseries offered basic pots that did not suit modern spaces, while lifestyle stores carried beautiful vessels without the greenery. Somewhere between aesthetics and soil, an idea began to grow.
That spark became Plunt.co, a design-led plant brand co-founded by Jason and Rachel, both from creative and branding backgrounds. What began as a passion project slowly evolved into something larger, blending design sensibility with a desire to make greenery both approachable and visually engaging.

A Space That Slows You Down
Step into Plunt.co’s store at Shaw Road and you will understand what makes it different. The environment feels easy and relaxed, built on the belief that good design should put people at ease. Visitors are encouraged to explore freely, enjoy complimentary drinks and snacks, and take their time without any pressure to purchase.
“It is not just about selling plants,” says Jason. “We wanted to create a whole shopping experience that people enjoy being in. Even if someone is not into plants, they can still come along with their friends and family, unwind, and feel part of it.”
The store was designed with everyone in mind. Families visit on weekends, friends stop by for a chat, and pets are welcome too. Children can wander safely while adults take a moment to pause and be inspired. The intention is simple: to make the visit enjoyable for all, not just plant enthusiasts.
Simple, Honest, and Thoughtful
Behind Plunt.co’s clean aesthetic lies a philosophy grounded in simplicity and sincerity. The team keeps things straightforward with fair pricing, quality products, and genuine service. Jason believes good design should feel inclusive rather than intimidating, and that each encounter with the brand should feel considered and effortless.
From the layout of the shop to the way guests are greeted, every detail reflects this mindset. “We keep everything simple, honest, thoughtful, and importantly, good value for money,” Jason explains. “From the moment someone walks in, it should feel easy and considered.”

Curated Greenery for Every Home and Business
Plunt Shop, the retail arm, offers a carefully chosen mix of plants, planters, and accessories available both in-store and online. Each pairing is styled with a designer’s eye for proportion, shape, and balance. The ready-to-go styled plants are a customer favourite. These pre-matched combinations remove uncertainty and allow homeowners to introduce greenery into their interiors effortlessly.
Beyond retail, PluntScape by Plunt.co focuses on styling and installation for homes and commercial settings such as cafés, offices, and restaurants. Whether it is a small corner or a full-scale project, every installation is crafted to look harmonious, intentional, and lasting.

What Sets Plunt.co Apart
Most nurseries focus on inventory. Plunt.co focuses on form, flow, and feeling. Jason approaches greenery as a designer would approach space, with attention to proportion, texture, and visual harmony. Every plant-and-pot pairing is curated to look cohesive, reducing the fatigue that comes from too many choices.
This clarity of design is what distinguishes Plunt.co. It is not about offering more options but creating better balance that feels naturally at home. Combined with the brand’s warm hospitality, the experience transforms a simple purchase into something memorable and meaningful.

A Growing Community
For Jason, the heart of Plunt.co lies in the people who connect with it. The shop has become a small community hub where visitors slow down, have conversations, and rediscover the joy of nature in a relaxed setting. Families, collectors, and pet owners alike have found comfort in the welcoming atmosphere and attentive service.
“What inspires us most is how this began as a passion project in a difficult time and grew into something people genuinely connect with,” Jason shares. “Seeing strangers walk in, fall in love with plants, return as regulars, and leave good reviews reminds us daily why we do this. It is proof that when you build something with sincerity, good design, and a little heart, people can feel it.”

Looking Ahead
Plunt.co continues to grow with the same creative mindset that started it all. The team plans to expand its PluntScape services, broaden its range of ready-to-go styled plants, and strengthen its online presence to reach more homes and workplaces.
There is also interest in collaborating with interior and lifestyle brands, reinforcing the belief that greenery should be a natural part of how people live and design their surroundings.
